• Lilach Orenstein

    Choreographer & Co-Creator 

    Lilach Orenstein is a mother, multidisciplinary artist, activist, performer, and producer known for her innovative performative installations. Her works were invited to performed at New York Live Arts, Impulstanz-Vienna, L1dancefest-Budapest, EMERGENYC2020, The Center at West Park among others.

    Recently, she received NYSCA’s 2023 Support for Artists and LMCC’s Creative Engagement. Lilach co-directs MOtiVE Brooklyn, a community space founded in 2021 for independent movement practitioners. She has produced over 100 large-scale productions in 12 countries and is currently the producer of zoe|juniper and Faye Driscoll. She excels in pioneering ground-breaking projects and believes in the power of community to lead change.

  • Sara Brown

    Set Designer & Co-Creator

    Sara is a set designer for theater, opera, and dance. Her designs have been part of productions at Boston Lyric Opera, the Huntington Theater Company, Jacob’s Pillow, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Minnesota Opera, LaMama Experimental Theater Club, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has a particular interest in developing original works and crafting equitable, joyful, and inclusive collaborative practices.

  • Jennifer Nugent

    Artistic Collaborator & Performer

    Jennifer is a performer, educator, mother, and partner. Her dancing is profoundly inspired by Daniel Lepkoff, Wendell Beavers, Bambi Anderson, Gerri Houlihan, Dale Andree, Patty Townsend,  Janet Wong, Bill T. Jones, Barbara Sloan, Linda Rogers Albritton, Ann Cummings, Patricia Cummings, and Beatrice LaVerne.

    Jennifer has been performing in NYC since 1998 with many artists and companies including Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, Paul Matteson, David Dorfman Dance, and Martha Clarke. Jennifer is currently dancing with Faye Driscoll and teaches at Movement Research and Sarah Lawrence College. Thank you Lilach, Mor, and Sara for this experience. 

  • Mor Mendel

    Artistic Collaborator & Performer

    Mor Mendel is a dancer, performance artist, educator, mother and a friend.

    Dancing for her is not about technique, but about ways in which, just like words in a poem, the body can communicate through the dance, the deepness of our humanity. 

    Mendel is deeply engaged with the dance for Parkinson community and leads workshops in Dance Poetry and improvisation. She has been a freelance dancer in NY city since 2014, currently dancing with Marion Spencer, Faye Driscoll and Liach Orenstein. Every now and then Mor misses the mountains of her childhood.Description goes here

  • Alicia Austin

    Costume Designer

    Alicia is a Brooklyn-based costume designer for theater, dance, TV, and film. Recently: Stargazers (Page73), The Play That Goes Wrong (Northern Stage), Aristotle Thinks Again (LaMama ETC), Regretfully, So The Birds Are (Playwrights Horizons), You Will Get Sick (Roundabout), Babes (Film Nation), Bupkis (Peacock), Only Murders In The Building (Hulu).  She teaches Costume Design at Skidmore College.   • Evan Anderson

    Original Music & Lighting Design

    Evan is a lighting designer and musician based in Brooklyn, NY.  Recent lighting: John Early: Now More Than Ever (HBO), The Winter’s Tale, It’s A Wonderful Life (Hartford Stage); The Plot (Yale Repertory Theatre); Symphony of Rats (The Wooster Group); Scenes With Girls (Theater Lab); Happy Life (The Hearth); the other shore (zoe | juniper);  The Realistic Joneses (New Century Theatre Company).   • Daria Walcott

    Production Manager 

    Daria is a technical producer/production manager for theater and live events. Recent professional highlights include the new opera “An American Soldier” at PAC NYC, Dirshu 2024 at the Prudential Center Arena, and an experimental work still in development with Jad Abumrad of RadioLab and Annie-B Parson of Big Dance Theater.

    In her free time, Daria makes elaborate costumes for Halloween/Mermaid Parade/Easter Bonnet Festival, practices handstands, and hangs with her adorable senior dog, Bentley.

  • Li Jin

    Assistant Set Designer

    Li is a designer/artist based in NYC. His work ranges from architecture to theater set design and multimedia installations. His work has been seen in various events including Harvard TDM Festival, MIT Media Lab HYPERFEST and the AIA Conference. Li has assisted and contributed to set design in major theater productions. He is dedicated to honing his skills in both arts and architecture and exploring the exciting intersections of these fields with a focus on creating immersive experiences. Li holds design degrees from Pratt Institute and Harvard University.

  • Alayo Oloko

    Design & Production Assistant

    Alayo Oloko is a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology studying theatre arts. She is passionate about acting, lighting design, set design, and playwriting. A goal of hers during her time at college has been to encourage her peers’ discovery and engagement with theatre. 

    Alayo is so happy she got the opportunity to work on this project and with the amazing people involved with it. She is particularly grateful to Sara, her professor, who brought Alayo into the project.

  • Meg Rotzel

    Original Illustrations

    Meg is an artist and curator of exhibitions at the Harvard Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Her artwork is rooted in the practices of noticing, drawing, and recording through image.

    Her curatorial work addresses knowledge production, the formation of community, and the legacies of collections and colonialism.

  • Linnea Scott

    Social Media and Communication

    Linnea is a New York based actor, director, and drag performer who is originally from Denver, CO. They are in the business of making art that heals. Their performing and devising works have recently been seen at Lincoln Center: Education, Theater Row, The 24 Hour Plays Off-Broadway, The Tank, Theaterlab, Center for Performance Research, The Denver Fringe Festival, and BAX.
